If booming noises, yelling of any types, or chemicals blowing up in front of everyone coming to the lair wasn't the first reaction Liliana would've usually had, she would've figured something was wrong or something was blown up before hand. Except there was a boom noise and yelling of all types from his other brothers. The door to purple masked turtle's lab was open and green ooze from his experiment that had gone wrong. There could be two possible explanations to why this always happened, Michelangelo trying to help his older brother or Donatello mixed two chemicals that made everything go wrong.

The second older brother rolled his eyes when their leader went to go grab brooms, mops and mop buckets to clean up. This always happened when the genius got an idea for them to try out on missions and Raphael wasn't happy with most of them. Sure, he gave credit for the completed, most good designs that Donatello pulled off but he hated help clean up the messes Donatello made. "Since you're here, you can help clean too," Raphael said, eyeing her.

Liliana's eyes scanned to see the damage that was done; the lab was covered in the green goo, half of the lair was covered in the ooze, and even Donatello was covered in it. A soft sigh escaped her lips and was handed a broom. Coming to the lair had its ups and downs. This probably was one of the down sides.

Liliana now sat on a chair in Donatello's lab after cleaning up the mess. The olive-green turtle had excused himself so he could clean himself up before coming back so he could finish his experiment. Lilly was worried about the young genius; he would stay up all night when they didn't have any missions to start or finish experiments, slept in his lab, and he would usually shut himself away from everybody so he wouldn't have any distractions from anybody. Donatello opened the door and he entered with a sheepish smile. "Sorry..." he apologized, walking towards her.

"You were working on an experiment, why are you sorry?"

"Every time I get a new idea for an experiment, something always goes wrong."

"That's what experiments do, Donatello," Liliana replied back. She watched as Donatello grabbed the goggles and tossed them into the trash can that was over-flowing with the same pair of safety goggles. "What kind of experiment were you working on anyway?"

Donatello now looked at her with a dorky grin on his face. "Would you believe me if I told you that I was working on a chemical spray that would allow - in theory - mask your scent to go undetected by enemies with a heightened sense of smell?"

"Yes, but what made the experiment blow up green goo?" Liliana asked.

He shook his head and gave a small shrug as he sat back down in front of the table. "I don't know - something seems to be lacking and I can't figure it out what it is!" He replied, gathering two test tubes that were filled with different chemicals and eyed them. Liliana watched Donatello mix two different chemicals together. She stood from the chair sh was sitting in and went to put a hand on his shoulder. Normally, Donatello would've freaked out over her touch but he didn't. He liked her touch. His eyes locked with hers.

Lilly smiled. "You'll figured it out. You always do, right?" She asked and instead of getting an answer, she got a smile in return. The blonde watched as Donatello continued mixing chemicals before blurting out another question. "You're always working so much so why don't you take a break from your work?"

The olive green turtle stopped his work to look directly at her with shock showing on his face. He never got a break from his work expect when he got the little to no sleep. He was up all hours during nights while working on experiments or the battle shell; sleeping at the computer. He debated on it and although he wanted to work on the new experiment he was working on, he also knew that he needed a break from his work. "Okay. What would you like to do since you've given me a break from my work?" He asked, chuckling nervously.

Liliana leaned on the table with her hands giving her support, looking up at the ceiling as hopes as for some answers. Since they could never really show themselves on the outside world to humans, there wasn't really anything she could think of. "What is there to do since you guys can't really show yourselves just yet?"

Donatello hummed several of noises, thinking of what the two could do during his break. This morning, during training, his senesi showed them katas and learned how to use them in a battle. He locked eyes with her and said, "If the dojo's free, I could show you some kata's sensei showed us this morning?" He then paused after his question, remembering that Lilly took karate since she was seven years of age and she probably knew more about them than he did himself.

Lilly smiled. "Sure."

The two exited out of the lab to head to the dojo and he hopped that it wasn't pre-occupied. During their walk, they talked about the retro-mutagen that he was creating to help turn Karai back into human form rather than seeing her snake form all the time. Liliana smiled, told him that he would find it with time, patience, and sleep. So into their conversation, they didn't realize the shouts of battle in the dojo until Donatello opened the door. He blinked then frowned when he saw his older brother holding a fake sword and Splinter shouting out actions towards him while holding his cane as a weapon. Splinter usually took Leonardo for special training without him or his other brothers; resulting them to do their own training at their own accord.

A soft sigh escaped his lips. He closed the door to the dojo, turned his eyes to Lilly and said, "Well, that's out of the question. What now?"

It was her turn to think; it was really hard to do anything since the brothers couldn't show themselves to the people yet, but a thought crossed her mind and she remembered the purple-masked turtle had told her about the time they rescued a blind man named Murakami who owned his own food shop. Although he couldn't see, Murakami knew that the turtles were turtles. She was hesitant about telling him because of all the foot clan activity lately but she did so anyway. "What about getting something to eat at Mr. Murakami's?"

To her surprise, Don wasn't at all opposed to the idea; he was all up for it. "Sure! I am kind of getting hungry myself."

Climbing up the ladder to the surface, Don peeked out to see if people were walking by but there wasn't so he finished climbing out so he could help Lilly out of the sewer. His face turned serious and said, "If anything happens, we're to go straight back to the lair. Understood?"

Trying to make light of the situation, Lilly put her free hand to her forehead. "Aye aye Captain," she replied with a small giggle, turning her back to him, closing the manhole. She turned around to face him, watching him roll his eyes.

"I'm serious."

"I know, and nothing bad will ever happen tonight."

"Don't make promises you can't keep, Lil."

Entering Murakami's restaurant was either a bad thing or a good thing; sometimes he was there and he wouldn't answer at first or he would be at the front of the table, waiting for costumers to come through his door. He was not there. Donatello took a deep breath and called out for his name. No answer. Again with no answer. Starting to get a little paranoid, he was about to head to the back himself to see if the blind man was even there. He inched forward slightly and asked again. Donatello heaved a sigh when he saw the blind man come from the back.

"See, told you everything would be all right," Lil said with a giggle but he just rolled his eyes.

"Ah, my turtle friends. What can I do for you this evening?" Murakami asked.

"Pizza Gyoza fro me, and whatever the lady is having," Donatello answered as they took their seats. He watched as Murakami wrote down his order and waited for Liliana's though she seemed to have what Donnie was having. Murakami nodded at their orders and went back to get the stuff he needed to make Pizza Gyoza's. "They're really good."

Lilly smiled at Donatello. "Oh, I've never had a Gyoza before, especially with pizza in them," she replied.

After a few minutes of waiting for the food to arrive at their table, Donnie grinned his toothless grin and grabbed his chopsticks, took them and grabbed one so he could eat it. He was in heaven when the delightful gyoza entered his mouth. It tasted like pizza, but only better. He eyed the girl next to him who did the same thing. She seemed to like it but he couldn't tell whether or not she did.

"You're right, they are good."

This isn't finished, but I'll add on to it later because I wanted to get it uploaded.

This oneshot is based off of this picture: fav.me/d90o98q

But yeah, I've gotten back into writing and here's my piece with a little Donatello/Lilly eating some pizza gyoza's as their first date. I thought it was appropriate because I've been requesting/commissioning art of either Lilly herself or Don/Lilly. I'm actually quite surprised a lot of people like drawing her. c:

Here you guys go, some Lil/Don cuteness. c:
Please don't copy and past my writings somewhere else. Thank you~

Enjoy~
